This story is really disturbing because it can result in death of not just adults but also children. Although the idea of having a store that caters for the poor is noble, serious efforts must be taken to ensure that the quality of the products sold is not compromised. Most of the patrons of the store cannot afford to fall sick from consuming contaminated food sold there. If the government through the Health Ministry does not take action against the company/factory that supplied/produced the sauce or other inferior products found at the store, voters, most of whom are on low income and most of whom frequents those 1Malaysia stores may punish the government at the next general election.
