Mum's always loved her old lazy chair but she couldn't take her eyes off the modern rocking chair (see below) we saw at Boulevard shopping mall in Kuching.

Although it 'rocks' as it should, given the name, the mechanics and design is slightly different from the traditional rocking chair below. It cost RM 320.00, which is more than the traditional rocking chair but if you really like the rocking chair and want something that looks sophisticated and can blend in with your existing modern furniture, this would be a good buy. It's easy to use and suits both the young and old. The seat is also adjustable unlike the traditional rocking chair.
Sadly, we couldn't buy the chair we saw because they're out of stock and only have the display unit. We were told by the salesperson that we'd have to wait about 2 months or so for the new stock to arrive.
If we end up buying it, I can't wait to see how it'll look in our living room when placed alongside our Lorenzo furniture. One things for sure, it won't look out of place like mum's lazy chair. This is arguably one of the best things to come out of China.
