Somehow this news didn't surprise me because the game against Indonesia earlier did go til' penalties so our players were already exhausted when they played the Syrians. Moreover, the Syrians are much better than the Indonesians tactically and are ranked higher too. In any event, if Malaysia is to qualify for the Olympic or World Cup for that matter, they must first establish themselves in the region and that's what they're doing at the moment. Plus, we do have a young squad.
